Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: July 4, 2026
Serplify is built for lawful measurement, testing, research, and growth experimentation — not deception, fraud, or harm. This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") explains what our products are for, where we draw the line, and who is responsible for what. It applies to everyone who uses the SERP API, Website Traffic, or SEO Traffic, and it forms part of our Terms of Service.
The short version. Serplify is a neutral technical tool. You choose the keywords, targets, volume, and purpose. You are responsible for using it lawfully and only against properties you own or are authorized to act for. Serplify does not control your inputs and is not responsible for how you apply the Service.
What our products are for
- SERP API — collecting publicly available search-result data for rank tracking, monitoring, market research, competitive analysis, and building legitimate tools. It reads the same public results a person sees in a browser.
- Website Traffic — testing pages and infrastructure, load and analytics validation, warming up new sites, and adding measurable visibility for sites you own or are authorized to promote.
- SEO Traffic (CTR) — sending real human clicks to study organic click-through rate, dwell behavior, and search visibility for your own pages, as a measurement and testing experiment.
Lawful collection of public information
The SERP API accesses and compiles information that is already publicly available — published, un-gated search results that anyone can view. Gathering and organizing public information is a long-recognized, lawful activity, and the free flow of public information is a protected interest. Consistent with that, you agree that you will:
- Use the SERP API only to access public information — never content behind a login, paywall, or other access control, and never to bypass technical restrictions.
- Not use the Service to collect, assemble, or de-anonymize personal data in violation of privacy laws, or to build profiles of individuals for unlawful purposes.
- Respect intellectual-property rights in the underlying results and not reproduce third-party content beyond what the law permits.
- Comply with applicable data-protection laws (such as the GDPR and CCPA) for any personal data you obtain or process.
Testing and measurement, not manipulation
Our traffic products are measurement and testing tools. We provide real signal and real data; we do not guarantee search rankings, and we do not claim to "game" any search engine on your behalf. Treat SEO/CTR Traffic as an experiment for understanding click-through behavior — not as a ranking service or a guaranteed outcome. Search engines run their own algorithms and policies, which are outside our control.
What we don't allow
You agree not to use Serplify to:
- Break any law, regulation, or sanctions regime, or facilitate anyone else doing so.
- Send traffic or clicks to any site, page, or property you do not own or are not authorized to promote or test.
- Inflate ad impressions or clicks, or defraud any ad network, affiliate program, or pay-per-click system ("click fraud").
- Fake metrics to mislead investors, advertisers, partners, buyers, or the public.
- Target illegal content, malware, phishing, fraud, or anything that harms users or their devices.
- Harass, defame, or damage any person or business — for example, driving traffic to distort someone else's analytics, exhaust an ad budget, or trigger penalties on a site you don't control.
- Access non-public data, bypass authentication, rate limits, CAPTCHAs, or other technical controls, or collect personal data unlawfully.
- Infringe intellectual-property or privacy rights, or misappropriate confidential information.
- Interfere with, overload, or disrupt any system, network, or service (including any denial-of-service activity).
- Resell or sublicense raw API access in violation of your plan, or attempt to circumvent quotas, billing, or security measures.
- Reverse engineer or use the Service to build a competing service in breach of the Terms.
You are responsible for your use
Serplify provides the capability; you provide the intent, the targets, and the purpose. You are solely responsible for ensuring your use is lawful and authorized. If you use the Service in a way that this policy or the law prohibits, that is your act, not ours — and you agree to indemnify Serplify for any resulting claims, as set out in the Terms of Service. If you are ever unsure whether a use case is allowed, ask us first at support@serplify.io — we'd rather have the conversation than have you guess.
Reporting abuse
If you believe Serplify is being used against your property in a way that violates this policy, or you want to report suspected abuse or an intellectual-property concern, contact support@serplify.io with details. We investigate credible reports and act on violations.
Enforcement
If we find use that breaks this policy, we may throttle, suspend, or close the account, remove access, and retain records as needed. For serious or illegal abuse, we may act without notice and cooperate with law enforcement and lawful requests. Enforcement is at our discretion and does not create a duty to monitor; the absence of enforcement in any instance is not a waiver of our rights.
